Psoriasis is a skin disorder that causes skin cells to multiply up to 10 times faster than normal. This makes the skin build up into bumpy red patches covered with white scales. In darker skin these patches may look purple in color. They can grow anywhere, but mostly appear on the scalp, elbows, knees, and lower back and can vary in severity from small patch to complete body coverage.

There are five main types of psoriasis

: plaque, guttate, inverse, pustular, and erythrodermic. However Plaque psoriasis is the most common form of psoriasis. The exact cause remains unknown. A combination of elements, including genetic redisposition and environmental factors, are involved. Physical & Emotional Stress is responsible for aggravating or causing the lesions to reappear.

People with psoriasis can also get a type of arthritis called psoriatic arthritis. It causes pain and swelling in the joints.

Homeopathic medicines help by improving our body’s (immune) innate response and guide the body back to a healthy state, naturally. It work in the following way.
  • It stimulates body’s own healing process
  • It works at root level and restores deviated immunity back to normalcy.

Psoriatic arthritis can affect joints on just one side or on both sides of your body. The signs and symptoms of psoriatic arthritis often resemble those of rheumatoid arthritis. Both diseases cause joints to become painful, swollen and warm to the touch.

A small percentage of people with psoriatic arthritis develop arthritis mutilans — a severe, painful and disabling form of the disease. Over time, arthritis mutilans destroys the small bones in the hands, especially the fingers, leading to permanent deformity and disability.
